Born bass-first in Verdal, mid-Norway, and raised as the fourth (and favourite) child in a music-loving family, I grew up surrounded by folk tunes, fiddles, and the smell of hay. My parents were music teachers by trade and folk musicians by passion, so naturally, I rebelled by picking up the bass at 13 and never looking back.

Before that, I played the violin and a few other instruments, but once I met the low-end groove, it was game over. I started gigging at 16, studied Rock at TrΓΈndertun FolkehΓΈgskole (yes, that’s a thing), and jumped into the music world full-timeβ€”touring, recording, producing, coffee-fetching, and occasionally being a human potato.

Somewhere in the middle, tendinitis threw a wrench in my playing career. So I dabbled in tech retail, sold fancy speakers, and eventually found myself at Vinmonopolet selling wine with surprising enthusiasm.

These days, I’m based in Trondheim, bass in hand once again, rebuilding after a few rough years (mental health: slowly respawning). Still playing, growing, still figuring it all out. The future is wide openβ€”and maybe just a little bit weird. Distinctively, how I like it.
