Yes. It is November 5th, and they celebrate the gunpowder plot in England today. Im not gonna talk about that though.
I saw a rainbow today. The weather is still grey and rainy, but as I stepped outside today the sun shone through for a moment and blessed me with a full and clear rainbow not that far away. I went inside to get my phone so I could take a picture, but the moment had passed and the rainbow was no more. I suppose someone found the pot of gold at the end and brought the rainbow home with them.
A fun little thing – a superstition from way, way back –Β that I was told when I was a kid, is that when the sun shines and it rains there is being held a wedding in Hell. It meant that some poor fool had been tricked by the fairytale figures and lured under the ground where the Hulder lives, and forced that person to marry her. So I guess there will be a wedding party in Hell tonight.
