Sometimes my head feels like this box of poorly folded linens. I have some idea what’s in it, but it I have to dig through it do find what I’m looking for, and sometimes what I’m looking for isn’t even there. Today has been a bit like that. Β I have struggled figuring out what I wanted to write about. I couldn’t settle on one specific topic, subject or object or anything. Some days are going to be like that, I suppose. I figured I could share a bit from various thoughts I have had instead. Just make in a β€œrandom thoughts” post.Β

I wanted initially to make it a post about the various cell phones I have had through the years, but I realised that I don’t remember the models as I used to do once. I could name all the Nokias, Sony Ericssons and iPhones I have owned. And I have to admit there’s been many. I got my first phone when I was 11, I think. My older brothers old Nokia 3210. It was a sturdy beast who proved more or less impossible to destroy, just like my next phone the Nokia 3310. After those followed a series of other Nokias before I changed to Sony Ericssons in high school. I loved the Walkman series they came out with and they had several brilliant features that I can’t remember much of anymore. But they were brilliant!

The only reason I wanted to bring up the old phones is simply that one of them just crossed my mind when I walked to the store earlier this afternoon. Things like to do that. Just pop up in my head when I am walking. More so than when I’m showering, I think. I suppose my mind can wander as freely as I can. Perhaps that why I always have liked being out walking in the forests and such? It properly relaxes my mind. I can actually disconnect from everything, and do it in a more healthy way – both physically and mentally – than put on a tv show or avoid the world through TV games. It feels more akin to meditation when I’m outside. Even today with slippery and icy conditions, I felt relaxed in a way I rarely can find anywhere else.Β

Another thought I had was about my hobbies. I am still drawing my thumb and shapes, but I though perhaps that I should try to draw something less β€œrealistic”. To try to learn some things in a more cartoonish style. I watched a YouTube video about some stuff and other things yesterday, and I really liked the drawings they made to accompany the subject. It was simplistic – though I am very well aware that doesn’t equal easy – and had less focus on the β€œcorrect” shapes and things that I struggle a bit in drawing out. I will look into that over the weekend, when I have done my first 3 weeks of β€œpracticing shapes”.Β

I feel I have other things to focus on at the present and don’t think I will add another thing to my list for now. I am planning to start working a bit this weekend, and that along with other assignments and chores I have, I think it will be enough to simply keep drawing squares, circles, triangles and the occasional thumb.Β

The job I am starting is delivery driver for Wolt. I have never really been employed as a delivery driver before, though I have been frequently used as one by my family. I have always like driving, and I have usually had the time to go around delivering stuff for people. I was asked if starting as I driver for Wolt could be something I would be interested in, and I said yes. Now I have my delivery bag, contract signed and almost everything is in order. Just some logistics left to sort out now, and I will soon be delivering pizza, burgers, flowers or other items for people around town. I think it will be a great job, and I am looking forward to the experience.
