Today I just want to share a shell with you – though I am not sure if its actually βshellβ it is called. It belonged to a sea creature of one sort at one point and itβs hard. I call it a shell, at least.
It1s not very big or very fancy, but I think iβs very pretty nonetheless.Β
I did, surprisingly not find it in or by the sea. I found it in the middle of suburbia on a lawn. It has probably been carried away by a seabird or something, and it ended up on that small patch of grass for me to find. I took it home, and have looked at it daily ever since. I am not sure what it is about it, but it just mesmerises me how its made, how it feels to touch, how smooth the inside is, the ridges and lines of itβ¦ I just find it incredible.Β
So todays appreciation goes to the little creature that spent so much time and energy to make this little house of theirs, and to whatever powers brought the little shell to be in my pathway on that particular day for me to find.
Thank you. I really appreciate you, little shell.Β
