Admitting a thing is not the same as changing it.
Cataloguing every reason does not buy redemption without having to demonstrate growth.
Explanations are not emotional currency.
Saying, “If you can see why I did it, you will hurt less.” But motives do noterase outcomes. The explanations reopen wounds.
Narrating is not relating.
There are only endless variations of “I felt / I did / I couldn’t.
That is performance, not empathy.

The hyper-detailed, pseudo-therapeutic explanations are usually about managing guilt, not repairing trust.
Explanations are not apologies. They are just guilt in long form.
