A Stardew Valley Challenge
Rules
No buying from Pierre (except backpack and bouquets in year six). Seeds from carts and travelling merchants is fine. Seeds must be obtained by a seed maker or through foraging.
Cheating in the first three years requires a complete restart.
If you enter a festival by mistake, you must skip selling the following Monday.
Year one: Survival
Choose basic or four-corners farm.
No farming, only foraging. No farming (planting and harvesting wild seeds is foraging, not farming!!). No fishing. No breaking rocks anywhere besides on your own farm.
You may only speak to NPCs if it pertains to a quest. No gift giving unless the quest requires you to.
If you can afford to, you may upgrade your house (10k gold, 450 wood).
You should begin storing for the community centre quest.
You may not go to any festivals.
You may not wear shoes, hats or glasses.
Year two: Emotions
Only fishing. No foraging, farming, mining (clearing weeds, rocks and wood is allowed to be able to move, nothing more).
You are to become friends with Willy and Elliott.
If you made it to level 10 foraging, and if you can afford it, you may upgrade your house (65k gold, 100 hardwood).
If you accidentally give a loved gift to an NPC in Year Two or Three, you must sell your highest value item that season.
You must wear a sailor shirt (if it is available).
Year three: Power
Only mining and combat. No fishing, no farming, no foraging.
You are to begin the museum collection. Also, become friends with Gus and the Mayor.
You may fix the bridge at the beach.
You may upgrade your tools to steel.
If you have made it to level 10 mining (by the end of year three), you may fix the boat to go to Ginger Island.
If you accidentally give a loved gift to an NPC in Year Two or Three, you must sell your highest value item that season.
If you pass out in the mines in Year Three, you may not upgrade a tool that year.
You must wear combat boots.
Year four: Discipline
Only farming (crops). No fishing, foraging, mining or combat. You can only leave your farm ONCE a year. You can only sell your wares on Mondays.
You may not go to any festivals.
If you make it to level 10 farming by the end of year 4, you can forage on the weekends in year 5.

7β8: You must clear 10 crops.
9β10: You must fish for trash only that day.
11β12: You must change outfits midweek.
You must wear farmer overalls.
Year five: Nurture
Farming (animals). You can only sell what your animals provide for you.
On the first and last day of the month, you can visit the mines or the quarry to collect items to craft with. You may not sell these foraged/mined items.
You may fish on rainy days (if you have level 10 fishing).
If you can afford to, you may upgrade your house (100k gold).

9β10: You must fish for trash only that day.
11β12: You must change outfits midweek.
You must wear farmer overalls.
Year six: Society
You will make friends with everyone in Pelican Town.
You will make coffee and pastries/desserts to sell. This is your only form of income for the entire year.
You will spend your nights at the pub. You may feed your animals.
You will give a bouquet to 4/12 of the bachelors.
No farming, mining, foraging or fishing UNLESS you are level 10 fishing, mining, foraging and farming. If you are, you may do ONE of them each season.

You must wear formal attire to your pub nights.
Year seven: Responsibility
You will do every quest that is listed. In place of a quest, you may go to the mines or the quarry.
This includes the raccoons.
You can visit Ginger Island on rainy days (if you have finished the community centre).
You will give a bouquet to 4 more bachelors.
You may not carry a rabbitβs foot.

7β8: You must clear 10 crops.
9β10: You must fish for trash only that day.
11β12: You must change outfits midweek.
You must wear a bow or headband.
Year eight: Mastery
You will live on Ginger Island. Finish the quests, find all of the golden walnuts and slay the volcano.

3β4: You must gift a disliked item.
5β6: You must skip selling on one Monday.
7β8: You must clear 10 crops.
9β10: You must fish for trash only that day.
11β12: You must change outfits midweek.
You must wear a bathing suit while on Ginger Island.
Year nine: Wealth
You will only sell the wine and preserves you make. You may farm or forage the ingredients.
You will give a bouquet to the last 4 bachelors.
You will double your household funds at the casino (only available if you have amassed 350k gold by year 9).
You will have 3 statues of infinite wealth (any colour).

You must wear a top hat at the casino.
Year ten: Commitment
Roll a 12-sided dice. This will tell you about your future spouse. Marry them and have two children.

Then you may begin Generation Two.
