Say you remove one of the small outer triangles – the one on the top, for example – and slide it away from the group. You move that triangle somewhere else:
ᴅɪᴅ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴍɪᴅᴅʟᴇ ᴛʀɪᴀɴɢʟᴇ ᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴇxɪꜱᴛ?
You could say that none of these triangles exist. They are only triangles because we say that they are.
‘Reality’ and ‘illusion’ are a duality… but only conceptually.
conceptually (adverb): terms of a concept or abstract idea.
An illusion has no reality, which is to say, it does not exist.
As it does not exist, there is only reality.
… does it matter, though? The minute you say “an illusion of our mind“, you are already establishing a reality. A real you and a real mind experiencing it.
Enjoy this idea (non-physical) phenomenon! Descartes said it best, “The unexamined life is not worth living.“
