Turn, turn, turn

How to make circular thinking* work for you!

What is circular thinking?
In the worldly sense, “circular thinking” is a pejorative term. It is generally associated with people with little critical thinking and who are (generally) not logical-minded. To gain knowledge and understanding, a person needs to step outside circular thinking, it is what breaks the cycle of ignorance. It is what separates a person from their beliefs.

We all get lost in some kind of circular thinking from time to time.  It is how our perception works. It constantly tries to “project” its version and reinforce it. Simply said, “we see what we want to see“.

An everyday life example would be something like: “Jehovah is the only God because the Bible says it so. And the Bible says it because he is the only God.” or it can be as simple as “We believe in everything we say, we say it because we believe it” or “I am not as cute as someone else because someone said so, and they said so, and I believe it” You see: the A is reinforcing the B and the B is reinforcing the A creating an endless loop of sustain and reinforcement.

Note: It is important to be aware and detached from this process. You learn nothing from being in this feedback loop.

Using this correctly and with awareness and understanding can be a supreme tool for reinforcing any desirable reality (belief) and replacing an old, undesirable one. And because you are lucky, this is the point of the post. It is a way to reinforce and make stable any desired reality (belief) you want.

Affirmations:
I am deeply loved and easily loved in return.
My life is an adventure for me to learn from.

IMPORTANT; this is not a word game. There is no magic in the order of the words. You are not learning to make an affirmation in a specific order. The focus should be on that ONE DECLARATION and sustaining/reinforcing the other. It is meant to create a full circle of affirmations that make one desired reality indestructible and “without escape”. It creates a fully closed circle where multiple affirmations protect the one desired reality you want.

*not to be confused with the Circular Causality‘: a sequence of causes and effects that leads back to the original cause and either alters or confirms it, thus producing a new sequence, as in a feedback loop.
